Solicita: Quality Engineer 3rd Shift

    General DeEscrituraion
    Ensure the implementation of quality policies and procedures to guarantee that products and processes comply with customer, regulatory, and design requirements, promoting continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.

    Experience and Education


    • Professional Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related fields)
    • Minimum 2 years of experience in Process Quality Control
    • Intermediate to Advanced English.
    Knowledge, Skills and Certifications
    • Demonstrated knowledge of quality tools (Core tools: PFMEA, DOE, PPAP, GD&T, MSA, SPC)
    • Knowledge of quality standards (ISO 9001)
    • Experience in the development and follow-up of PFMEA and Control Plans.
    • Computer skills in Microsoft and SAP (intermediate level minimum).
    • Problem-solving techniques (5 Whys, 8Ds, DMAIC).
    • Proven knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma.
    • Experience in process and system auditing.
    • Experience managing operational personnel (Quality Inspectors/Technicians).
    • New product introduction management.
    • Negotiation skills with other departments.
    • Leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
    Main Duties and Responsibilities

    • Lead process and product quality activities.
    • Actively participate in the problem-solving process.
    • Manage and validate corrective actions.
    • Provide technical support to Engineering and Production (Manufacturing) regarding product quality and its function within the design.
    • Perform advanced root cause analysis management.
    • Actively participate in new product launches.
    • Lead a team of quality inspectors/technicians.
    • Apply and follow up on Core Tools (PFMEA, Control Plan, GD&T).
    • Work closely with Engineering and Manufacturing on capability studies, DOE, SPC, and MSA.
    • Perform any other duties or responsibilities assigned by the department supervisor.
    • Perform activities related to safety.
    • Participate in compliance with the QMS (Quality Management System) requirements established for their role in relation to ISO 9001:2015.
    • Comply with the safety rules established according to their role.
    • Complete on time all planned training related to Quality and Training.
    • Identify and report any quality and compliance issues and support corrective actions.
