Solicita: SUPERVISOR DE PLANEACION Y COMPRAS

• Descripción y Requisitos

  MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  
  

  • Supervises direct material buyers
  • Process purchase orders and/or blanket orders to obtain materials that meet production requirements
  • Monitor/Analyze/Execute ERP action messages
  • Monitor incoming supply chain
  • Update PO status in ERP system
  • Issue discreet purchase orders
  • Provide PO status updates to planning & operations teams
  • Define/Analyze/Maintain ERP planning parameters
  • Manage supplier relationships
  • Analyze supply chain performance and define/implement improvements
  • Analyze supply chain costs and define/implement improvements
  • Support MRO/non-inventory purchasing
  • Reconcile PO receipt/invoice issues
  • Manage and update purchasing metrics
  • Process material returns
  • Develop Demand Consensus and Supply Plan for the next 3 months
  • Develop monthly, weekly, and daily production schedules
  • Review material and capacity availability
  • Monitor schedule attainment
  • All other duties as defined by management
  • Escalation Path for critical issues.
  • Set metric individually, track and adjust for improvement.

  EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Four-year Bachelor Degree in Business or Supply Chain Management
  • 5 to 7 years of purchasing or supply chain management experience in a manufacturing environment
  • 1 to 3 years of experience with ERP systems
  • Demonstrated supply chain knowledge (CPIM, ASCP, CPM)
  • Bilingual English/Spanish is a must
