Maintenance Supervisor

At Siemens Itesa, we are seeking a Maintenance Supervisor with extensive experience in metalworking processes and the maintenance of stamping equipment. This position will be key to ensuring the availability, reliability, and optimal performance of mechanical and hydraulic presses, leading a high-performing technical team in a dynamic environment focused on continuous improvement.

Requirements
- Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electromechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 7 years of experience supervising maintenance of industrial equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret diagrams and blueprints to troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues.
- Knowledge of electrical power and control systems; knowledge of PLCs (Siemens).
- Solid knowledge of mechanics and hydraulics
- Intermediate to advanced technical English
- Ability to analyze and solve problems.
Main Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, LOTO procedures, and internal policies.
- Manage spare parts inventory and coordinate purchases.
• Plan and schedule preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance.
• Train, assign daily tasks to, and supervise the performance of the technicians under your supervision.
• Effectively delegate tasks and ensure that scheduled work is completed.
• Coordinate and supervise external suppliers and contractors.
• Monitoring maintenance metrics (MTTR, MTBF, OEE, and PM compliance).
• Participating in root cause analysis of critical failures and establishing corrective actions.
• Managing work orders and maintenance schedules using the Brightly system.
• Leading initiatives for continuous improvement, TPM, 5S, and downtime reduction.
Required Experience
• Medium- and high-tonnage mechanical and hydraulic punch presses.
• Bending machines.
• Spot welders.
• Riveting machines.
• Overhead cranes for handling coils.
• Industrial hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Press safety equipment (light curtains, safety relays, interlocks).
• Electric motors, variable frequency drives, and industrial control systems.
