You will be responsible for:
Responsible for actively monitoring equipment OEE, developing and implementing action plans of continuous improvement to achieve, maintain and improve OEE targets.
Develop equipment training contents for new technical personnel such as Technicians and Engineers.
Responsible for maintaining, identifying, and implementing solutions to organize and standardize manufacturing areas ensuring optimal compliance with service standards and operational excellence.
Actively collaborates with Supervisors and Engineers from multiple departments to facilitate the solution of equipment issues and improve equipment reliability.
Schedules and sets the proper implementation of planned maintenance activities.
Develops and supports the preventive and corrective maintenance plan to improve the use of resources.
Ensures compliance with policies and procedures including but not limited to safety, quality, productivity, and environmental staff in charge.
Leader and / or facilitator for root cause analysis and corrective maintenance actions.
Deploy 5 years equipment replacement plan.
Apply evaluation methodologies for evaluation and risk mitigation to execute equipment maintenance activities (FMECA, FRACAS, HAZARD, Root Cause Analysis, etc.)
Define strategy for corrective and preventive maintenance based on predictive
maintenance or equipment condition.
Perform Failure Reporting Analysis and Corrective Action System (FRACAS).
Contribute on equipment reliability targets definition.
Involvement on design phases and during implementation of new manufacturing equipment
Lead meetings to review equipment performance.
Monitoring and evaluate new technology implementations for performance on equipment improvements.
Assume responsibility and drive continuous improvement on productive equipment.
Responsible of Maintenance System Management, gives technical support, trainings,
support on data review from the system, user management, assign system levels access, etc.
Responsible for communicating business-related issues or opportunities to next management level
Responsible for following all Company guidelines related to Health, Safety and Environmental practices as applicable.
For those who supervise or manage a staff, responsible for ensuring that subordinates follow all
Company guidelines related to Health, Safety and Environmental practices and that all
resources needed to do so are available and in good condition, if applicable
Responsible for ensuring personal and Company compliance with all Federal, State, local and Company regulations, policies, and procedures.
Performs other duties assigned as needed.
Qualifications / Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (preferably Electronics, Mechatronics, Mechanical, Electrical,Industrial) or sciences related.
Professional certifications in lean manufacturing and six sigma preferably.
Experience with TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) methodologies.
Experience using reliability assessment tools such as FRACAS and Risk Analysis.
Experience managing capital equipment replacement projects and long-term asset
management plans.
Experience in medical device, pharmaceutical, automotive, electronics, or highly regulated manufacturing industries.
Experience with CMMS systems such as SAP PM, Maximo, or similar maintenance management platforms.
Experience developing and implementing preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance strategies.
Experience monitoring and improving equipment performance indicators, including OEE, MTBF,
and MTTR.
Experience leading Root Cause Analysis (RCA) investigations and implementing corrective and preventive actions.
Experience supporting equipment installation, commissioning, qualification, and validation activities.
Ability to communicate complex situations in simple terms.
