DeEscrituraion and Requirements
Guarantee the availability, reliability and optimal performance of production equipment and tools, through strategic maintenance management, the development of technical capabilities of the equipment, and the implementation of proactive solutions that ensure operational continuity and compliance with production objectives.
Functions:
Directing and coordinating the functions of equipment maintenance, facility maintenance, tool shop and administration of the spare parts tool crib.
Directly supervise the maintenance supervisor and tool crib ensuring alignment with the plant's operational objectives.
Ensure the availability of critical equipment for production through preventive, corrective and predictive maintenance strategies.
Implement, monitor and improve key indicators such as Down time and compliance of preventive and corrective maintenance.
Guarantee the safe and efficient operation of electrical, hydraulic and infrastructure installations in general.
Coordinate infrastructure improvement or expansion projects in collaboration with related plant departments.
Supervise the repair and maintenance of tools, dies and production devices.
Ensure the quality, availability and traceability of critical tools.
Prioritize and manage capital projects in the maintenance area.
Coordinate scheduled technical stoppages and continuous improvement activities.
Strengthening the capacities of the technical team through training, coaching and development plans.
Promote a culture of safety, operational discipline and continuous improvement.
Manage human, material and financial resources of the area.
Participate in the preparation and monitoring of the maintenance budget.
Lead initiatives for TPM, Root Cause Analysis, and other operational excellence methodologies.
Work closely with production, quality, logistics, engineering, HR and EHS to ensure operational continuity.
Actively participate in safety, productivity and plant improvement committees.
Requirements:
Minimum Education: (Graduate) Mechanical, Electrical, Electromechanical, Mechatronics or related Engineering.
Minimum Experience: 10 years in technical or equipment maintenance roles and tooling, including leadership.
Languages: Spanish and English, oral and written
Certifications: TPM, GD&T, Project Management, CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems)
Equipment and tooling maintenance management
Knowledge of different machines such as bending machines, presses, dies, etc.
Failure and reliability analysis
Use of tools such as Root Cause Analysis, PFMEA, TPM.
Knowledge in PLC, Pneumatics, Hydraulics and Electricity
Management of computerized maintenance management systems.
Automation & Control
Management of MTTR, MTBF, OEE, Maintenance Compliance Indicators.
