  Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement the continuous improvement strategy aligned with business objectives.
  • Train and develop personnel in Lean methodologies and problem-solving tools.
  • Define, plan, coordinate, and follow up on continuous improvement events and activities.
  • Gather and share information and tools for process improvement.
  • Motivate and train the entire organization on process improvement initiatives and methodologies.
  • Monitor, audit, and communicate the status of processes.
  • Define and coordinate actions to be taken by the organization to ensure and improve results.
  • Serve as the point of contact with external entities regarding Lean Manufacturing. Identify and replicate best practices across departments and plants.

  Requirements
  
  

  • 3 years of experience in a similar position.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required; Master’s degree preferred (focused on process design, control, optimization, and execution).

  • 90% bilingual proficiency (English/Spanish).

• Implementation and continuous improvement of Lean Manufacturing processes (minimum 7 years).

• Development and execution of organization-wide work plans (minimum 7 years).

• Identification, definition, and resolution of complex problems using applicable methodologies (minimum 7 years).

• Systems and process-oriented auditing (minimum 5 years).

• Effective communication at all organizational levels.

• Proficiency in process design techniques and problem-solving methodologies.

• Planning and execution of projects and processes at the organizational level.

• Strong interpersonal, communication, training, and facilitation skills across all organizational levels.

• Knowledge of manufacturing and assembly processes.

• Experience in metal-mechanical manufacturing processes.
