  Key responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with legal requirements in safety, health and the environment.
  • Implement and promote a safety culture in accordance with corporate policies.
  • Investigate accidents and incidents to determine root cause and follow up on corrective actions.
  • Coordinate training in safety and proper use of PPE.
  • Detect risks and ensure preventive measures.
  • Manage medical services and asset security.
  • Attend inspections by authorities and process permits necessary for the operation of the plant.
  • Provide safety, health and environmental inductions.

  Candidate profile

  • Environmental, industrial or similar engineering degree (preferred).
  • 3 years minimum experience in EHS.
  • Knowledge of STPS regulations, Social Security and applicable regulations.
  • Management of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
  • Intermediate/Advanced English (preferred).
  • Leadership, organizational, communication and personnel management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
