TPM Maintenance Engineer
Main Responsibilities
- TPM Implementation
• Design, plan, and execute the TPM roadmap
• Roll out the methodology in phases across the plant
• Select and manage a pilot area
- Autonomous Maintenance Implementation
• Safety
• Initial cleanup
• Detection of anomalies
• Elimination of failure sources
• Standardization
• Create operational checklists by equipment
• Train operators in basic inspection
• Audit daily compliance
- Development of preventive maintenance plans
• Define maintenance strategies (preventive/predictive)
• Create and optimize maintenance plans
• Monitor maintenance backlog
• Ensure PM compliance
- Lead continuous improvement projects
• Analyze root causes of failures
• 5 Whys
• Ishikawa
• FMEA
• Eliminate recurring failures
• Reduce downtime and micro-stops
- Audits and control of the TPM system
• Conduct periodic audits by pillar
• Evaluate compliance with standards
• Detect deviations
• Ensure closure of corrective actions
- Direct work on the production floor
- Equipment reliability management
- Management of the cultural shift toward prevention
- Management of technical staff
Requirements
- Engineering degree (Industrial, Mechanical, Electromechanical, or related field)
- 5–8 years of experience in the manufacturing industry.
- At least 3 years of experience in: TPM implementation and/or similar systems (Lean, WCM).
- Bilingual (English / Spanish)
- Industrial maintenance software
