GENERAL DEEscrituraION:
An IT Shop Floor Specialist ensures the continuous operation of manufacturing technology. They manage plant-floor hardware, networks, and software applications to support production lines. Responsibilities include troubleshooting HMIs, connecting production devices to higher-level IT systems, and minimizing equipment downtime.
BASIC DUTIES:
· Hardware Support: Maintain and troubleshoot shop floor equipment including industrial PCs, barcode scanners, label printers, and HMIs.
· System Integration: Develop, configure, and support manufacturing systems, connecting production equipment directly to IT infrastructure.
· Network & Connectivity: Ensure the stability of wired and wireless networks on the production floor, including VPN and remote access environments.
· Downtime Response: Diagnose and resolve software errors and network bottlenecks to keep manufacturing operations running without interruption.
· Database Management: Monitor, back up, and maintain localized SQL databases used for logging production data and tracking inventory.
EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE EXPERIENCE AND ABILITY REQUIRED:
· Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent work experience.
· Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of Windows OS (including Windows 10/11), SQL servers, and network administration.

· English 85 +.
