Automation Manager
Position Overview:
The Automation Manager supervises multiple teams to ensure overall performance results. Adapts annual plans and operation priorities; assesses and solves the problem of resource and daily operation.
Solves problem through management knowledge and provides professional advice and guidance colleagues and teams.
Has management responsibilities to supervisors, including performance reviews and career development; leads team members to propose innovative ideas
Key Responsibilities:
- Align automation initiatives with organizational goals.
- Improve efficiency and maintain high standards of quality and reliability.
- Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of automated systems and processes for server production, automated logistics, AOI and network infrastructure.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities.
- Oversee procurement, installation, and integration of automation equipment and software.
- Monitor system performance and conduct regular audits to ensure optimal operation.
- Lead and mentor a team of automation engineers and technicians.
- Develop and maintain documentation for automation systems and processes.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety protocols.
- Manage budgets and timelines for automation projects.
- Stay current with emerging technologies in automation, AI, and IoT.
Qualifications:
-Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer - - Science, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in automation within manufacturing or IT infrastructure.
- Strong knowledge of PLC, DCS, and robotic systems.
- Experience with programming languages and data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Python, Excel).
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management tools.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in system integration server manufacturing for data centers.
- Certifications such as PMP, Six Sigma, or equivalent.
- Knowledge of service virtualization and automated testing tools.
