Solicita: Senior Cost Analyst


  • Descripción y Requisitos

    Primary Objective of the Role
    Control and follow up on the performance of raw materials, direct and indirect costs based on general procedures to correct variances between actual and budgeted costs. Coordinate and track the physical inventory process in the various areas of the organization
    .

    Key Responsibilities

    - Identify and address any issues that may generate cost overruns
    Month closing: Process Cost accounting – responsible for the accurate reporting of Cost of Goods manufactured and sold using SAP.
    Month closing: Provide accurate and timely financial information including actual product costs and standard costs for new products.
    Monthly closing:  Schedule and coordinate with outside departments and within the department to meet the 4-day close. This includes planning and leading monthly and quarterly invent.
    - Coordination with regional and corporate finance departments and internal/external auditors.
    Develop detailed cost forecasts and budget reports. Analyze variances and identify trends to support business decisions.
    Risk Management: Systematically identify and manage risks and opportunities related to cost targets.
    - Implement cost control measures and monitor program margin.
    Inventory: Execute quarterly/year inventory audit for each BU as required by corporate.
    Inventory: Review and audit the inventory system within SAP to ensure accurate financial records and reporting.
    Budgeting: Leadership in the annual budgeting/Capex and planning process.
    Executive meeting: Attendance at executive monthly meetings and presentation of detailed financial performance, providing strategic and financial guidance to support the business development.
    Executive meeting: Generate reporting that provides compelling business insights aimed at driving actions to improve current and future business performance and enhance the profitability of the operation.
    Financial reviewing: Business financial review of standard overall operation, analyzing variances and identifying trends to support business decision-making.

    Requirements

    • Proven experience in the electronics industry and Contract Manufacturing companies
    • Minimum 5 years of experience in technology systems
    • Education:
      • Bachelor's degree in accounting
      • Mastery of Accounting Systems:  Draw on many accounting systems
    • Bilingual (English-Spanish)
