  Position Summary 

  This position develops, implements, and coordinates facilities maintenance programs to ensure the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of the plant's buildings, infrastructure, and utilities. The Facilities Supervisor leads and develops the facilities team, manages preventive and corrective maintenance activities, oversees external contractors and service providers, and ensures compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements. This role supports business continuity by maintaining critical systems, optimizing facility performance, and minimizing operational disruptions.

  Essential Duties and Responsibilities 

  • Availability to attend any situation related to Facilities.
  • Lead and execute preventive maintenance programs for mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems.
  • Manage PLC and control systems for the factory and facility equipment.
  • Diagnose and resolve complex equipment and facility issues with minimal supervision.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to enhance equipment reliability and energy efficiency.
  • Coordinate with contractors and vendors for specialized repairs and projects.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Support capital projects and facility upgrades, including planning and execution.

  Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree and 5+ years of Facility Mechanical-Electrical Infrastructure, and Building Automation Systems experience
  • Bilingual English/Spanish
  • Experience supporting design/build of clean rooms, chiller plants.
  • Familiarity with HVAC (AHU’s, MAU’s, Chillers,etc) specifically with Daikin and UMP brands.
  • Experience with i-Vu.
  • Understanding of PLC basics and motor controls.
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints, shop drawings, and schematics.
  • Experience with integrated building solutions including temperature control, critical environment monitoring, power management and alarming, zoned lighting control and facility access control.
  • Maintain and optimize HVAC control systems including:
  • Chillers
  • Boilers
  • Air Handling Units (AHUs)
  • Remote Transmission Units (RTUs)
  • VAV Systems
  • Fan Coil Units
  • Cooling Towers
  • Pumping Systems
  • Implement control system modifications, software updates, graphics enhancements, and sequence adjustments.
  • Verify proper operation of sensors, actuators, controllers, and field devices.
