  REQUIREMENTS
  
  Strong and proven negotiation skills
  Degree in business, engineering, or supply chain management
  1–3 years of experience in strategic sourcing or category management
  Proven track record in direct and indirect material negotiations
  Knowledge of commodity and cost drivers
  Experience working with international suppliers and multi-site operations
  Strong English skills; additional languages are a plus
  Familiar with SAP or similar ERP systems
  Confident communicator and relationship builder in various cultures
  Willingness to travel for supplier visits or project coordination
  Knowledge of source-to-pay
  
  TASKS
  
  Single face to key suppliers in negotiation commercial terms across locations
  Develop and implement sourcing strategies for key material and non-material categories
  Lead supplier selection, negotiation, and contracting processes
  Align closely with engineering, logistics, and production on part/business needs
  Conduct market analysis to identify new sources and manage risk exposure
  Monitor market cost changes and initiate cost reduction initiatives
  Support make-or-buy and total cost of ownership evaluations
  Manage supplier escalations and resolve delivery or quality issues
  Represent procurement in cross-functional project or product teams
  Handover to material planning based on defined milestone
  Support capacity management if requested
  
  Roles (Authorizations)
  
  Authority to define and implement sourcing strategies for assigned direct and indirect material categories
  Commercial decision-making power in supplier selection, price negotiations, and contract finalization (within defined conditions)
  Escalation authority in case of supplier non-performance or critical delivery failures
  Approval of cost targets and sourcing plans within defined thresholds
  Authority to initiate and lead cross-functional sourcing teams (e.g., with engineering, logistics)
  Sign-off rights for long-term supply agreements and framework contracts (within mandate)¹
  Influence over product cost structures through design-to-cost initiatives
  Autonomy to develop supplier panel and nominate preferred vendors
  Authority to represent procurement in project steering committees and technical reviews
  
  RESPONSIBILITIES
  
  Own the sourcing strategy and supplier panel for assigned categories
  Achieve proactive and reactive cost, quality, and delivery performance targets
  Ensure early supplier involvement in product development projects
  Drive supplier negotiations in alignment with commercial targets
  Support regional Supplier Lifecycle Coordinator with strategic guidance
  Maintain supplier relationship management and lead business reviews
  Identify and manage supply risks and ensure continuity of supply
  Report sourcing status, KPIs, and risks to management regularly
  Align purchasing strategy with product lifecycle, volume planning, and sustainability goals
  Support Category Lead in strategy development
  Support capacity management if requested
